The story behind tickSAFE

Due to the large number of Lyme disease cases in his practice, Dr. Meinhold has repeatedly asked himself how the number of cases could be reduced. This led him to develop the tick gripper, which has been meticulously optimized over many years of detailed work. The result is the tickSAFE tick gripper with soft grip technology, a soft, flexible gripper head and a precise rotation mechanism.
With this ingenious device, even small ticks can be gently removed. This largely avoids the dangerous squeezing of ticks and reduces the risk of impending infection.

During his research, Dr. Meinhold quickly realized that some of the existing products cause bruising or even injuries to the tick. This can cause parts of the tick to break off and remain in the skin. However, the rotating tick gripper from tickSAFE helps to prevent this. Thanks to its soft-grip technology, it allows ticks to be removed from the skin gently and unharmed. With tickSAFE, everyone has the knack of it and can quickly get the hang of ticks.
